Adrian Fontes - Free Mason, Sketchy Lawyer, and Arizona Secretary of State
Research into your Secretary of State, it's actually pretty fun.
Each Secretary of State in the United States is responsible for many vital functions in The United States Government, from advising the President on Foreign Policy to supervising the administration of U.S. immigration laws and promoting economic intercourse between the United States and other countries.
The Secretary of State also oversees and conducts free and fair Elections for the State. With controversy surrounding election security from both sides of the political aisle in 2016 and 2020, the election process is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most critical responsibility a Secretary of State is tasked with as we move toward the 2024 Election Cycle.
Holding such a position in Government requires the highest order of integrity. The Secretary of State serves the interests of all the citizens in any given state, no matter what side of the political spectrum one falls on. Therefore, the need to hear from both sides regarding an Election can not be overstated. The need for a transparent Election process can not be overstated.
We are talking about elections and integrity, two words that need to work together to fix our broken election system. To improve the lack of trust surrounding our elections, those two words, “elections and integrity,” must transform into action.
The Secretary of State Saga Continues
Adrian Fontes
If you missed the last article I wrote on Jocelyn Benson, I recommend that you catch up on her background. Adrian Fontes and Jocelyn Benson co-chair the Democracy Working Group, pushing forth the NewDEAL Forum. Adrian Fontes has just as many, if not more, skeletons in his closet than Jocelyn Benson. I’m not even sure where to begin.
In 1988, Adrian Fontes was granted a minority scholarship to attend Arizona State University.
However, Adrian’s time (this time around) was short-lived. Nogales International said, “He took a break from college to serve in the U.S. Marines from 1992 to 1996.”
However, according to Arizona Daily Independent, Adrian Fonte’s arrest records tell a different story as to why he may have stepped away from Arizona State University:
“December 1988, June 1989. Minor in-possession citations,”
“The defendant indicates that prior to his arrest for the present offense, he drank alcohol on the weekends and experienced blackouts.”
“The defendant began using marijuana at the age of fifteen and indicates his last use of the substance was approximately two weeks before his interview with this writer.”
In fact, according to Arizona Daily Independent, Adrian Fonte has an extensive criminal background.
ASU record of felony flight and endangerment; ASU record of minor in possession
Class 5 Felony. Unlawful flight from police (page 2 of PDF)
Class 6 Felony. Endangerment (page 2)
People had to jump or dive out of the way (page 3)
“If you hit one of the pedestrians, would it cause bodily injury to the person?” “Yes, more than likely.” “Cause death?” “Kill them, yea easy.” (Page 6)
Court documents from Class 5 Felony charge. Alcohol and drug abuse cited.
Two previous minors in possessions.
Described as “mentally disturbed.”
Evaded cops on a “3-mile pursuit.”
Probation of 1 year.
Three nights in jail.
Alcohol/Marijuana use.
“Traveling in excess of forty-five miles per hour.”
“He has future hopes of entering politics.”
December 1988, June 1989. Minor in possession citations.
“The defendant indicates that prior to his arrest for the present offense, he drank alcohol on the weekends and experienced blackouts.”
“The defendant began using marijuana at the age of fifteen and indicates his last use of the substance was approximately two weeks before his interview with this writer.”
Hardly anyone with a criminal record like this should ever be qualified to be a Secretary of State, but then again, he did replace Katie Hobbs.
According to Jacqueline Breger:
“In addition to impacting local elections, bribes and infiltration were used to affect the outcome of the races during the November 3, 2020 election, including the outcome of the race for Maricopa County Recorder and the outcome of the November 8, 2022 election (race for Governor, Secretary of State, and Attorney General).”
Perhaps Adrian Fontes made connections with Runbeck after he became Maricopa County Registrar in 2017, where they seemed to have developed quite a relationship.
The state sued to block Fontes from sending the instruction to 2.5 million Maricopa County voters who received early ballots for the Nov. 3 election.
Here is a quick timeline of events leading up to this lawsuit.
03/2020 - A.G. Brnovich went to court to try and block Adrian Fontes from sending early ballots to all registered voters in Maricopa County, targeting anyone not on the Permanent Early Voting List. Fontes wanted to hold an all-mail election to help keep voters from casting ballots in person while the COVID-19 narrative was still a thing, but Fontes was barred from doing so.
08/11/2020 - A letter was sent to the recorder’s office and wasn’t received until six days later. The Arizona Attorney General’s Office informed Fontes that his instructions on ballot mistakes violated the law.
8/17/20020 - AZPIA’s attorney sent Fontes a cease-and-desist letter asking him not to use the new instructions for the general election.
09/04/2020 - Maricopa County Superior Court Judge James Smith said that Fontes’s instructions, which he already used for the presidential preference election in March and the primary election in August, were more than likely illegal.
09/14/2020 Judge James Smith said he wouldn’t bar Fontes from using the erroneous instructions or order him to print new ones because of the difficulties in publishing new instructions without proper notice — the county must mail out ballots with the original instructions to overseas voters.
Runbeck already printed 2.5 million sets of instructions and couldn’t print new ones in time to include them with the ballots. It would have cost the county $125,000 to print new instructions if the proper paper had been found in time.
Let’s look at some of the clients Adrian Fontes has represented as an attorney.
2011 - Represented Alexander Andrews, charged with six counts of failure to register as a sex offender in Maricopa County, Arizona.
2011 - Represented Orlando Molina-Barraza and his associates, charged with five counts of narcotic drug violations, seven counts of money laundering, six counts of dangerous drug violations, eight counts of using electronic communication during a drug transaction, three counts of illegal control of an enterprise, and one count of misconduct involving weapons in Maricopa County, Arizona.
2006 - Represented Miguel Angel Velarde-Macias, detained by the United States Border Patrol for transporting illegal immigrants across the border. USBP discovered that “Velarde-Macias had been arrested on about twenty-two previous occasions” and “this history indicates that Velarde may be involved in human trafficking.”
Represented Manuel Fabian Celis-Acosta – the “primary target” in the Obama Administration’s ‘Fast and Furious Investigation.’
Fontes represented Emilia Palomina-Robles – who was accused of working with a Mexican drug cartel and plotting to buy military-grade weapons.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Adrian Fontes represented the primary target in Obama’s Fast and Furious Investigation.
I want to mention the type of weaponry Emilia Palomina-Robles was also trying to buy.
Stinger surface-to-air-missile at a negotiated price of $200,000.
Dragon fire anti-tank weapon for a cost of $100,000.
Law Rocket anti-tank weapon for $20,000.
Two AT-4 recoilless anti-tank guns for $20,000.
The indictment says the defendants were to pay with some cash and illegal drugs.
While acting as Maricopa County Recorder, Adrian Fontes visited Beatitude Campus at the Plaza View Assisted Living and Early Memory Support Neighborhoods on 10/23/2020 to assist residents who needed help filling out their ballots due to either cognitive issues or physical limitations.
Perhaps someone with a cognitive issue in assisted living is unaware of who they are voting for…
Until this point, this article has been a lot to take in. Adrian Fontes has an extensive arrest record, has represented some incredibly shady people running drugs, money, and people across the border, possibly falsifying deeds, and has been at the center of a scandal involving false instructions for mail-in voting with Runbeck.
I grabbed Adrian’s email address and ran it through Whoxy to discover something I was unaware of.
Adrian Fontes owns Masonicminute.com, registered on 8/24/2006, the earliest record of Adrian Fontes being a Free Mason. The latest archive available is from 3/18/2009. Below is the first entry on MasonicMinute.com by a user named “Aedifico42”.
The same username (Aedifico42) popped up on the way back machine in 2008 on KingSolomonsLodge.org.
You are probably saying, “Authority, this does not prove that Adrian Fontes is a Free Mason.”
Well, how about this?
Here is the archive of the email. You can even click on Adrian Fonte’s email to verify that it is his email address.
Adrian Fontes rewrote the 2011 Arizona Masonic Constitution.
Secretary of State.
Holding such a position in Government requires the highest order of integrity. A Secretary of State performs many tasks, but the need for a transparent Election process can not be overstated, especially leading up to the 2024 Elections.
Elections and integrity are two words that need to work together to fix our broken election system. To improve the lack of trust surrounding our elections, those two words, “elections and integrity,” must transform into action, transparent action.
Does Adrian Fontes represent Election Integrity, the Free Masons, or the Cartels?

I’m shocked. How can these people be in office and continue to run amuck? Free mason too? Wow Wow OMG. Thank you for such an informative article. I had no idea they were teamed up with the cartel. I read your first article about the real-estate scam but I think I need to read it again because I missed something there. The dots are connected and I can’t wait to see what happens next. This is treasonous
Good job! Great investigative dive.
