IMPORTANT - A Breakdown Of The Democracy Working Group's 'Democracy Playbook'
[They] always show us ahead of time.
The NewDEAL Forum is being brought forth by CEO Debbie Cox Bultan, an initiative focused on providing citizens with Election Integrity and Voting Access. Also, it pushes the limits for Civic Engagement through a document called “The Democracy Playbook.”
PLEASE click the link above to read The Democracy Playbook for yourself. The Left IS telling us their plan for the upcoming election cycle in 2024.
The Democracy Playbook is being led by The Democracy Working Group, which consists of Jocelyn Benson, Michigan Secretary of State, Adrian Fontes, Arizona Secretary of State, Sandra Jauregui, Nevada Assembly Member, and Ken Lawrence, Montgomery County, PA Commissioner.
The plans laid out in The Democracy Playbook are very black and white, with plans to combat disinformation fiercely, enact automatic voter registrations, target young people and businesses to help drive the goals of the Democratic party and to fully prosecute anyone who gets in the way to the fullest extent of the law.
Upon reading The Democracy Playbook, one will notice an extreme political bias within the first four paragraphs, which is alarming for the Michigan and Arizona Secretary of State Officials to be endorsing, whose responsibilities should be non-partisan in nature.
Recently, the “January 6th Narrative” has been crumbing with new information released by Tucker Carlson that shows “insurrectionists” were being led peacefully through The Capital Building by what appears to be Capitol Police Officers, which completely shatters the backbone of The Democracy Playbook.
The Democracy Playbook references the term “Misinformation” precisely 15 times, as opposed to the word “Integrity,” which is mentioned only 11 times.
What is alarming about The Democracy Working Group’s position on misinformation is highlighted perfectly by Amy Mitchell as she states, “You need to get to the truth, and you need truth to get to a functioning democracy.” The problem is that only one party gets to voice what the “truth” actually is.
Anyone who questions the integrity of their elections is “suspectable to misleading social media posts about nefarious actors throwing ballots in the trash,” which is a misleading quote in of itself with a plethora of information regarding “Ballot Box Number 3,” where over 17,000 votes were placed into Box #3 located under the Tabulators. About 50 of the 223 voting centers in Maricopa County, AZ, all experienced the same issue, which has been widely documented.
Ballot Box #3 was even confirmed as a reality by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Bill Gates, stating “We always have ballots that go into Box 3, we always have ballots that are not read into the tabulator, but that is a higher percentage than normal.”
According to The Democracy Working Group, “the number one threat to democracy is unending misinformation,” and “elected leaders have an obligation to correct the record.” They also believe that “[misinformation] has the potential for violence, misinformation leads to people losing faith in the election process, thus undermining their faith in duly elected leaders.
Are we supposed to blindly trust that the information from Elected Officials is 100% factual?
The Democracy Working Group lays out multiple ways to improve election integrity, but the Democracy Playbook lays the foundation for elected officials and nonprofits to combat misinformation. One way to combat misinformation is through the usage of “Robust Websites” where voters can understand more about the election process, which will result in “less fear and misinformation spreading,” as well as “correcting misinformation” whenever possible, determined misinformation by the Democracy Working Group.
Another way The Democracy Working Group plainly states how they plan to stop the flow of “misinformation” is to form relationships with Journalists. The encouragement to forge personal relationships with the media so that “reporters can relay correct information in stories.” This is narrative seeding, and it is a fair question to ask, will these reporters and media outlets be receiving money for their write-ups? Or are journalists and media outlets expected to work for free?
Various Members of the Democracy Working Group layout “best practices” to handle misinformation. The first practice mentioned is to Temper Expectations “No matter how outlandish, some people will believe conspiracy theories touted by dishonest media outlets and shared on social media.”
Who decides what is true and what is not true? The State? The People? If someone does not agree with how an election is conducted, does that automatically make them a conspiracy theorist and labeled as dishonest? Again, who decides what is true and what is false?
The second “best practice” laid out in the Democracy Playbook is to “Aggressively Counter Misinformation” by using the reach of “social media and relationships with reporters.” Why is it okay for certain journalists that have formed relationships with the Democracy Working Group to publish articles to correct the record, but if someone is on the other side of the aisle, they are considered “conspiracy theorists” and “dishonest media outlets”? Seems like a double standard.
A tactic the Democracy Playbook lays out to ensure Election Integrity is to test voting machines publicly. This is something we can all get behind and root for. However, we will touch more on this later.
The Democracy Working Group seeks to test voting machines to “engage [selected] publicly journalists and blunt potential arguments from bad-faith actors seeking to undermine elections.” But, again, the term “bad faith actor” is simply a matter of perspective.
Who will be conducting the testing of the voting machines?
The very same Officials looking to combat “misinformation”?
Organizations deemed worthy by The Democracy Working Group?
Another solution The Democracy Playbook lays out is to require Post-Election Audits, another important point we can all get behind and root for. However, again, another instance of who will be conducting the post-election audits. The Center for Democracy and Technology lays out ways to standardize post-election audits, to distinguish between good faith audits and “sham reviews” designed to undermine faith in the outcome of an election.”
The link provided in The Democracy Playbook determines a good-faith audit vs. “sham reviews,” or detailed as “fraudits according to The Center for Democracy and Technology.
According to this document, the 2020 Maricopa Audits conducted by The Cyber Ninjas are classified as “fraudit” (a fraudulent audit), stating, “State lawmakers came under tremendous pressure to initiate audits, sometimes dubbed fraudits, which purported to investigate the integrity of the 2020 election objectively— but that rested on the faulty premise that the election was rigged or fraudulent and appeared intended mostly to gather or generate evidence for that claim. Cyber Ninjas fell far short of the transparency that is characteristic of a good post-election audit.”
As The Brennan Center for Justice put it, the report used titles and headings that seemed “engineered for super-spreaders of disinformation to use out of context.
The Democracy Working Group will depend on business and civic organizations to push back against misinformation. Would there be incentives for companies that answer the call from The Democracy Playbook? Why is it the local supermarket's job to correct the record according to Government and Public Officials?
One can quickly see how heavily the Democracy Working Group is focused on combatting " misinformation, “ according to how the Democracy Playbook sees it.
Here is one more example to drive home the point of The Democracy Playbook.
Not only is combatting misinformation not enough, but according to The Democracy Playbook, the plan is to “Prosecute All Acts of Voter/Election Intimidation,” where “Elected officials at all levels must work with prosecutors to ensure cases of election violence are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law to prevent such activity.”
How is this statement made by The Democracy Working Group not in itself, voter and election intimidation? If anyone disagrees with how an election is run, or if there is confusion or distrust surrounding the election and one decides to speak up on social media, according to the Democracy Playbook, these people would be undermining public elections. Does the Democracy Working Group mean to prosecute these individuals? Are differing opinions allowed on any level?
While most of The Democracy Playbook has to do with combatting misinformation, small sections of this document outline civic engagement for where businesses, faith institutions, and children will be used to push forward the agenda. Yes, you heard that correctly, young people of this country will be used to push the Democracy Playbook.
The Democracy Working Group seeks to “consistently engage with young people.” The plan is for Governors, state legislators, and local leaders should regularly meet with, engage, and listen to young people. Why is it so hard for adults to connect with Governors, state legislatures, and local leaders, yet when it comes to young people, this is a priority that should happen regularly?
The Democracy Working Group plans to engage with people wherever they are. That means whether they are at schools, works places, or community centers. Highlighted below is the “special effort to create a culture that welcomes and supports underrepresented individuals and communities, including young people.”
The Democracy Playbook also aims to fill voter rolls with minors since it will increase voter participation. This allows a child to be fully registered to vote as an adult. This is a now common practice for almost half the nation. However, through the Democracy Playbook, it is clear that our children will be targeted and mobilized.
As for businesses, it is a matter of perspective when reading, “Businesses have an economic self-interest in a stable, healthy democracy. “Volatility, including congested elections and violent protests, put businesses at risk.”
Regarding Voter Registration, The Democracy Working Group outlines every possible way to increase voter turnout. The Democracy Playbook plans to push for “best practices,” which include enacting automatic voter registration (which less than half of the country uses today), enacting online registration (which is very common today, only eight states do not have this feature available for their elections), pass same-day Registration (less than half of the country uses today), allow pre-registration for minors (less than half of the country uses today), and to partner with the business community actively. Just a few years ago, most of these practices were considered taboo.
The Democracy Playbook spends very little time referencing their vision of voting, as most of this document concerns combating misinformation. The Democracy Working Group plans to make early in-person voting easier by increasing the number of polling locations and hours of operation at each site. They also play to allow early voting at any county polling location. They also plan to streamline Absentee Voting, stating statistics rose from 21% of voters utilizing Absentee Voting in 2016 to 43% in 2020 when COVID-19 influenced the elections.
The Democracy Working Group plans to increase Vote-by-Mail states. In eight states (California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, and Washington), every registered voter is mailed a ballot, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. All Voters in those states can return their ballot by mail, although the states also have some form of in-person voting available. In addition, a plan to enact a no-excuse absentee voting system is being rolled out, which is currently in play for 28 states with the addition of Washington, D.C.
According to the Democracy Playbook, enacting permanent vote-by-mail lists where registered voters can be added to a system where citizens no longer need to request an absentee ballot for any election cycle allows the state/county to mail ballots to one’s home automatically.
In addition to enacting permanent vote-by-mail lists, The Democracy Working Group plans to use secure drop boxes further, extend the deadline for absentee ballots to Election Day, enact ballot tracking measures, and create permissive ballot curing regulations.
In conclusion, the basis of The NewDEAL Forum’s Democracy Playbook is a way to fight against “misinformation” by creating relationships and scripted narratives with selected journalists and news outlets and enacting lawfare on opposing voices. The Democracy Working Group plans to mobilize the youth, the faith-based institutions, and the businesses in your areas to help safeguard their elections. A massive push for mail-in ballots and drop boxes is essential to the utopian election system the Democracy Working Group envisions.
The Democracy Playbook outlines exactly how these corrupt politicians plan to corrupt the system even further in the upcoming election cycle.

I'm so sick of these NGO's and Dem funded orgs that are bound and determined to "protect our democracy". We are NOT a "democracy". And every citizen should have the right to vote, or NOT vote.
These corrupt communists really want to force everyone to vote, and if they don't, they will vote FOR them, which they already do using ballot harvesting and fake voter registrations and padded voter rolls.
Who would have known unless you pointed this out, that the Secretaries of State who stole their elected seats are among those pushing this BS.
These people totally ignore the actual blatant ballot and machine fraud prevalent in our elections. They prefer to use the mind-control term "disinformation" to smear anyone who wants real election integrity.
Never would have known about this new menace to our freedom. Thank you. Knowledge is power.
