The Arizona Republican Voting Guide
A full breakdown of essential information regarding Arizona's 2022 Midterm Elections.
We all know the 2022 Midterms may be the most critical Elections of our lives. However, for The State of Arizona, this sentiment rings across the Nation. Arizona has a real chance to turn the tides in favor of the people for the first time in a long time. I decided to put together a comprehensive voting guide for the citizens of Arizona to reference.
I will break down the different Trump-endorsed candidates and other propositions that will be decided on November 8th, 2022.
Please share this with everyone you know in the State of Arizona.
I will cover some of the Trump Endorsed Candidates before reviewing the key Propositions being voted on.
Kari Lake is the Trump-endorsed America First Arizona Governor Candidate and will run against opponent Katie Hobbs (who refuses to debate Kari.) Kari Lake became the symbol of truth when she stepped down from Fox 10 Phoenix News to run for Governor. She is a fierce woman of courage and integrity who stands for securing our border and finishing the wall. Kari is also very passionate about securing our Election System and reducing inflation for the citizens of Arizona. Kari is a strong voice for the “Silent Majority” and stands firm in the face of cancel culture and critical race theory. Kari Lake embodies the America First policies.
Blake Masters is the Trump-endorsed, America First Candidate running for U.S. Senate to represent Arizona. Blake Masters is a venture capitalist and became President of the Thiel Foundation in 2015 and served as COO from 2018-2022. Blake is running (according to his website), “because the same old establishment politicians and the same old establishment candidates have failed us. [Masters] brings a wealth of experience to the table on how to defeat not just the progressive Democrats, but also the weak and compromised RINO Republicans." Blake Masters is tough on China as it relates to Intellectual Property and promises to do whatever it takes to protect America from our foreign adversaries.
Eli Crane is a Trump-endorsed candidate running for election for the U.S. Representative in Congress. Eli Crane is a 13-year Navy Veteran serving in SEAL Team 3. Crane is an America First candidate who is pro-life, pro-second amendment and dares to take a stand against cancel culture and the radical left. Eli also pledges to put Election Integrity first, and will push back aggressively against voter fraud. Eli has a strong stance that he will never support Vaccine Mandates or Mask Mandates.
Wendy Rogers is the Trump-endorsed America First candidate up for re-election for State Senator of Arizona District 7. Wendy is one of the first Women U.S. Air Force Pilots and served for 20 years in active duty. Wendy plans to preserve our guns rights and vehemently opposes abortions. Wendy fully supports President Trump, our borders, and safeguarding our Election System. she has plans to ban sanctuary cities and to take care of Veterans. Wendy Rogers listens to voters and doesn’t sell out to lobbyists.
Mark Finchem is currently a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 11, and is a Trump-endorsed, America First Candidate running for Arizona Secretary of State. The duties of the Arizona Secretary of State include serving as the state's chief election officer and keeping the state's official records in order. When Arizonans had concerns about their election, Mark Finchem had the courage to hold the Maricopa hearing that led to the Arizona audit. Mark Finchem will do whatever it takes to protect your vote.
Abe Hamadeh is the Trump-endorsed Candidate for Attorney General of Arizona. Hamadeh is an Army intelligence officer and previously worked as a prosecutor in the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. Hamadeh pledges to support our Police officers and to restore Law & Order in the State of Arizona. Abe promises to secure Elections, uphold Border Security, and plans to fight back against Big Tech.
I will now cover the key Propositions being voted on in Arizona for the 2022 Midterm Elections.
Voting YES for Arizona Proposition 128 would allow the Arizona State Legislature to amend or repeal voter-approved ballot initiatives if any portion has been declared unconstitutional or invalid by the Arizona Supreme Court or U.S. Supreme Court.
Arizona Proposition 129, Single-Subject Requirement for Ballot Initiatives Amendment (2022)
Voting YES for Arizona Proposition 129 would add a provision to the Arizona Constitution that requires citizen-initiated ballot measures to embrace a single subject. The ballot measure would also require the initiative's subject to be expressed in the ballot title, or else the missing subject would be considered void.
Essentially, each ballot issued on a specific topic would be made clear for every voter rather than lumping all the issues into one ballot.
Arizona Proposition 131, Create Office of Lieutenant Governor Amendment (2022)
Proposition 131 would create the position of lieutenant governor in Arizona. Legislators would pass bills to prescribe the lieutenant governor's duties. As of 2022, Arizona is one of five states without a lieutenant governor.
This seems logical to have a contingency plan and if passed would go into effect for the 2026 Midterm Elections.
Arizona Proposition 132, 60% Vote Requirement for Ballot Measures to Approve Taxes Amendment (2022)
Under this amendment, any measure that approves a tax would require 60% of voters to approve of the measure. As of 2022, ballot measures in Arizona are approved when a simple majority (50.01%) of voters approve them, essentially ensuring that tax raises are nonpartisan in nature.
Arizona Proposition 309, Voter Identification Requirements for Mail-In Ballots and In-Person Voting Measure (2022)
Proposition 309 would add requirements for Arizona citizens casting a mail-in ballot, as well as changing voter ID requirements for in-person voters.
For mail-in voting, voters casting a mail-in ballot would have to add two new pieces of information to their affidavit: their date of birth and a voter ID number. The voter ID number would be the number on a voter’s driver's license, government-issued ID number, or the last four digits of their social security number. Currently, the voting affidavit only requires the signature of the voter. This signature is verified by comparing it to the voter’s signature on record with voter registration documents.
Protecting our vote with voter ID laws is essential.
Arizona Proposition 209, Interest Rate Limit on Debt from Healthcare Services and Collection Exempt Property and Earnings Increase Initiative (2022)
Proposition 209 would set a limit on interest rates for debt accrued from receiving healthcare services as equal to either the weekly average one-year constant maturity treasury yield or 3%, whichever is less. It would also increase the amount of value for certain property—including homestead, household furnishings, motor vehicles, and bank account funds—and earnings exempt from attachment, execution, forced sale, and any other debt collection processes.
Danny Seiden, president, and CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry: “If you’re somebody in Arizona who makes under $50,000 a year – which is over half of our population – this would essentially make you untouchable by creditors. That might sound great, but what it really means is that nobody will lend to you if there’s no way to ensure they’ll get their money back.”
Arizona Proposition 211, Campaign Finance Sources Disclosure Initiative (2022)
Proposition 211 would require anyone making independent expenditures of more than $50,000 on a statewide campaign or $25,000 on a local campaign to disclose the names of the money's original sources, which would be defined as the persons or businesses that earned the money being spent. It would require disclosure reports and transfer records to be made by any covered person (someone who spends a total of $50,000 or more in campaign spending in statewide campaigns or a person who spends $25,000 or more in another campaign), as well as requiring transfer reports to be made by donors who contribute $5,000 or more to a covered person. It would prohibit structured transactions.
Prop. 211 Attempts to silence free speech to target and dox private citizens.
Arizona Proposition 308, In-State Tuition for Non-Citizen Residents Measure (2022)
Proposition 308 would allow non-citizen students, except those considered to be nonresident aliens under federal law, to receive in-state college tuition when a student (a) attended school in Arizona for at least two years and (b) graduated from a public school, private school, or homeschool in Arizona.[1] Examples of nonresident aliens, as found in U.S. Code Title 8, are the families of foreign ambassadors, diplomats, and employees and non-citizens with residencies in a foreign nation that the non-citizen has no intention of abandoning.
No more should American taxpayers foot the bill for illegal immigrants to go to school for free.
Arizona Proposition 310, Sales Tax for Fire District Funding Measure (2022)
Arizona Free Enterprise Club: "If enacted, all Arizona taxpayers would be forced to subsidize 1.5 million other Arizona taxpayers despite already paying taxes for fire and emergency services in their own communities. This is not only redistributive, but it’s unfair. And that’s not the only problem. This policy is essentially a bailout for fire districts who have recklessly and wastefully spent taxpayer money. Having Arizona’s taxpayers indiscriminately subsidize districts that are not good stewards of taxpayer money is a perverse incentive."
Showing up to vote for America First Candidates is instrumental in taking back our country, as well as voting yes and no to these key propositions listed above. Creating this simple breakdown for Arizona Voters should be tremendously helpful for anyone who is tired of the current conditions in the Grand Canyon State. It is time to take back our Great Nation.
